new york city really shines (metaphorically considering the clouds) in the summer time..
the team i work with has so much talent compacted within it, so much passion boiling within it that our seams are bursting. my friend, brother and partner kahleem has just produced a reel of his work. read his words, watch his reel, get a sample of what we’re immersed in every day.
2009 was the year where I began taking Cinematography much more seriously. Before it was based solely on editing, but after working on photography with Robert Billings, it became clear where my road was headed.
This here is a compilation of my and our work together over the course of the last 2-3 years. It comprises photography on sports projects, photoshoots, ads and narrative filmmaking. The plan will be to do this annually, keeping our portfolios updated.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact us as well

all compromise is based on give and take, but there can be no give and take on fundamentals. any compromise on mere fundamentals is a surrender. for it is all give and no take.

when i was asked to photograph the members of dpe (da pak entertainment) i jumped at the chance because i knew that something strong and beautiful lived there.
i’ve learned that things change, people change, and it doesn’t mean you forget the past or try to cover it up. it simply means you move on and treasure the memories. letting go doesn’t mean giving up, it means accepting that some things weren’t meant to be..

don’t wait until everything is just right. it will never be perfect. there will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. so what. get started now. with each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful..
